The FSU Economics Department is seeking to hire up to two tenure-track faculty members at the Assistant Professor level to join our Faculty in the Fall of 2025. The selected candidates will be faculty members in the Department of Economics and affiliated with the XS/FS research cluster which is made up of a diverse group of scholars from the Departments of Economics, Political Science, and Accounting who use experimental methods to study social sciences and business. More information on the XS/FS cluster can be found here: https://cosspp.fsu.edu/xsfs/.

The Department welcomes applicants entering the job market for the first time and from more experienced candidates (such as Postdocs and advanced Assistant Professors). The successful candidate(s) must show evidence of the potential to produce internationally recognized research (at the Assistant level) or have a strong track record of scholarship (at the advanced Assistant level). Candidates from any field will be considered but a demonstrated interest in using experimental methods, whether in the laboratory, the field, or through online participant pools, is necessary. Preference will be given to those whose work may connect naturally with other social sciences, while also complementing the research interests of existing cluster faculty. We have a particular interest in theory and experiments for at least one of the positions. In addition to research, the usual teaching and service duties are expected. Completion of all requirements for the PhD before the date of hire is expected.

FSU is An Equal Opportunity/Access/Affirmative Action/Pro Disabled & Veteran Employer. FSU’s Equal Opportunity Statement can be viewed at: http://www.hr.fsu.edu/PDF/Publications/diversity/EEO_Statement.pdf.
