Assistant Professor Positions in Economics (Tenure-Track)
The Departament d'Economia Aplicada at the Universitat de les Illes Balears (Spain) is seeking applicants for tenure-track Assistant Professor positions in the fields of Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, International Trade/Macro, Public Economics, and Industrial Organization. The expected start date is September 2025.
Position Overview:
The successful candidates will engage in both research and teaching activities. Applicants should demonstrate a strong commitment to research excellence and the ability to contribute to undergraduate and graduate-level teaching.
Candidates must have completed a Ph.D. in Economics by May 2025. While teaching at the university is primarily conducted in Spanish or Catalan, fluency in either language is advantageous but not mandatory. Non-Spanish/Catalan speakers are encouraged to apply, though they should be willing to acquire language proficiency within a reasonable period.
