THE 2007 FAR EASTERN MEETING of the Econometric Society will be held in Taipei, Taiwan, from July 11 to July 13, 2007. The meeting will be organized by the Institute of Economics, Academia Sinica. The program will consist of plenary, invited, and contributed sessions in all fields of economics.

Prospective contributors are invited to submit their papers electronically through the conference website before March 15, 2007.

The 2006 Far Eastern Meeting of the Econometric Society (FEMES2006) will be held in Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, on July 9-12, 2006. This will be the first time for an econometric society meeting to be held in Mainland China and will be an important event for promoting economic research in China as well as for meeting with colleagues from Far East and overseas to discuss recent developments in all areas of econometrics and economic theory.
