Australasia Meeting, Melbourne, Australia, July 4-6, 2012
The Econometric Society Australasian Meeting in 2012 (ESAM12) will be held in Melbourne, Australia, from 3 to 6 July 2012, and hosted by Deakin University. The conference venue is The Langham Hotel, Melbourne. The program will consist of keynote and invited speakers, as well as contributed papers on a wide range of topics including: theoretical and applied econometrics, microeconomics, and macroeconomics.
The Organizing Committee now invites prospective contributors to submit full papers in the areas of theoretical and applied economics and econometrics for consideration in the program. Paper submissions open on 1 November 2011 and close on 21 March 2012. Each person may submit only one paper, or be a co-author on others providing that they present no more than one paper. At least one co-author must be a member of the Society or must join prior to submission.
International delegates are especially encouraged to submit a paper. Marvelous Melbourne is the cultural capital of Australia and is world-renowned for its relaxed atmosphere, sporting events and festivities, fantastic restaurants, parks and sports clubs, as well as its close proximity to beautiful countryside.
