CANCELLED: 2020 Latin American Workshop in Econometrics in Ecuador
Because of recent government policies enacted by the Ecuadorian government (border closures, curfew, and international flight cancellations till May 2020) due to the COVID-19, we regretfully concluded that we should cancel the 2020 Latin American Workshop in Econometrics in Ecuador. We were excited about having the workshop titled ‘The Econometrics of Network, Panel, and Spatial Data’ hosted by the ESPOL University, Guayaquil - Ecuador. We thank all the scholars who submitted their work for consideration and members of the Scientific Committee for their hard work. We thank the invited Keynote Speakers (Stéphane Bonhomme, David Drukker and Iván Fernández-Val) who agreed to present their work in the workshop. We are sure that we will host the workshop in the near future.

The 2020 Latin American Workshop in Econometrics of the Econometric Society will be held in Guayaquil, Ecuador, May 28-29, 2020 at the ESPOL University. The topic of the workshop will be the “Econometrics of Network, Spatial, and Panel Data.” Keynote speakers are Stéphane Bonhomme (University of Chicago), David M. Drukker (Sam Houston University), and Iván Fernández-Val (Boston University).
The program committee invites submissions of papers (either complete, or extended abstract that would benefit from discussion with attendees). Each person may submit only one paper and only present one paper. However, each person is allowed to be the co-author of several papers submitted to the workshop. At least one co-author must be a member of the Society or must join prior to submission. You may join the Econometric Society at http://www.econometricsociety.org.
The following information should also be provided at the time of submission: the manuscript in pdf format, the authors' names, affiliations, Econometric Society email address (for membership verification), web sites (if any) of the submitters, and paper title.
